TSCS is committed to investing in individual and couples’ relationship skills by using evidence-based resources, exercises, curricula, and initiatives to improve, enhance, and strengthen relationship quality and stability, sometimes described as relationship health.
TSCS is committed to utilizing a person-centered framework that addresses all factors (for example, emotional, sociological, and physical) which can impact an individual’s or couple’s relationship health.
We have one request for all of our clients. We ask our clients to be TRANSPARENT. To effectively help our clients, our clients must be willing to be transparent about different areas within their lives so that we can provide the best support for effective decision-making.
To be clear, relationship education is not relationship counseling. There are two different services. TSCS only provides relationship education and will refer to relationship counselors when appropriate.
Relationship education promotes tenets, resources, practices, and, most importantly, education about relationships based on evidence-based research. Relationship education is often described as a “road map” for helping individuals and couples find strategies and resources that best fit their unique circumstances via an educational formation. Relationship education can be offered through one-on-one consultation services (zoom or in person), interactive workshops, and uses evidence based RE programs and assessments (e.g., PREP, Prepare/Enrich) to help facilitate this process.
Various studies show that adequately prepared and educated couples significantly increase their chances of developing and maintaining a healthy, safe, and sustainable relationship.
Our number one goal is to help you cultivate a strong relationship foundation, encourage you to have transparent conversations with one another, and increase your chances of having a healthy relationship.

Relationship education is not therapy/counseling, although it can help you identify areas of growth that can be navigated with a licensed counselor/therapist. We work closely with various therapists/counselors and can recommend their services if necessary.
Who will be helping me/us work through relationship education?
A trained professional who has received certification in relationship education curriculum (e.g., Prepare/Enrich, PREP) will work with individuals/couples.
